THe rain poured down from the heavans as Arashi waited at the gate to the village. Her black streaked hair was plastered to her neck and back as she stood in the rain. 'What are we doing here Arashi?' De'Soto asked her. "I don't know, but I find this place the most comforting in the whole village De'Soto." She was leaning against the side of the gate and was prepared for anything and her creulian gaze was watching every movement of the bushes. Her snowy tail was lashing about wildly and she knew that it was a sign to someone elses' being there. But, she continued waiting, her creulian orbs taking in everything, be it still or not.

De'Soto hid in the smallish pocket of his mistress Arashis' outfit. He had found a string to play with and was lashing about wildly in her pocket. "Quit that De'Soto!" She half yelled half growled, being playfull, he could tell. He poked his head out of the pocket and looked at her, his bright icy blue eyes kittenlike and innocent at the moment. 'I just want to play...'[/b] He meowed, his voice being playfully whiney. He looked at her, his eyes growing big, and she lifted him out of her pocket, and nuzzled him to her nose. "I love you De'Soto." She whispered, for his ears only. He placed his paw on her nose, lovingly. 'I know. I love you too.'[/b] He then leaned over and licked her cheek, a rare sign coming from him.[/color]

Kurenai and Jiraiya were on a misson, to find a certain herb. It was somewhere in the forests of the Rain Village.
I here someting Kure. A voice. He looked at her and they both jumped into the trees and scanned the area. His eyes say the hand motion she made, to signal where the voice was coming from. Jiraiya nodded and leapt to Kurenai's tree.

De'Soto tensed, his fur poofing up and he was starting to growl. He had scented something or someone in the forest. 'Someone or something is in those trees over there Arashi...'[/b] He growled, not caring if her feelings got hurt, he was trying to protect her, and he didn't even bother to tell her what for when she questioned.[/color]

Kurenai crept forward on the branch, but lost her balance. A screech riped through the air as she fell. Jiraiya caught her hand just in time and Are you ok?
Yeah, I think so. Thank you. Her body was lifted back to the branch as she sighed with relief.

Arashis' head shot up, her eyes scanning the tree line for what screeched. Her mind was racing and she was looking at any and all spots that could possibly house anyone or anyone. "De'Soto, what was that?" She questioned him. 'He would know..' She thought, as she looked at De'Soto, her gaze questioning. She wasn't afraid or anything, but she didn't want to have to fight anything at this point in time.

Kurenai hugged Jiraiya in silent thanks for catching her. A grin lit up her face as she gazed into his soft, warm eyes.
The man nodded and his eyes filled with love and a sharp longing to kiss her again. He leaned his face towards her's and as their lips touched he heard a twig snap.

Both Arashi and De'Soto turned their heads at the twip snap. Arashi placed De'Soto in her pocket, but she continued to lean on the wall, her tail lashing wildly. She really hadn't wanted to fight, but she would if the need arised. She started humming to herself, her melodical voice as charming as none others had heard before. She waited for whatever it was that was in the trees to come down.

A humming noise reached both of the shinobis' ears at the same time. A girl... They both thought.
Jiraiya nodded and the leapt to the wall. We do not wish to fight. Just find a herb.

Arashi lifted her head as the shinobi came to the wall. His voice met her ears and she stopped humming. "An herb. Hm." Was all she said as she looked the shinobi up and down. When she thought she could trust him, she continued. "And what herb is it, that you wish to find?" She questioned, knowing that she sounded quite like she was investigating, but she didn't care.
