Rin's eyes widdened at the last statement Kamika made before walking out the door. She highly doubted they were going to have any fun the way Itachi was not conversing. Her eyes searched his face, but the mask was there. So about your eyes. A grin lit her face and parted her lips, slightly.

Well obviously you have ears, seeing as you like to hear yourself speak so dxmn much. Itachi, however, kept this thought to himself and decided to ignore the implications of her comment. He wouldn't ignore her failure, though. He would have to talk to her about it later. Then he would see just how good her hearing was. Then Rin pulled him from his thoughts. Right brow rose slightly, though the rest of the mask remained in place. What about them?

Oh. Just they how they change when you look at me and then how you turn cold again. I'm bothering you aren't I? She stood and placed her bowl in the sink. Her heart pounded in her chest. As Rin walked to the door, spft words cut through the air. I'll be in my room, if you should need me. With her head bowed, the woman left the room.

He really hadn't thought he was that readable, not after years of practice, at least. And yet, he couldn't control his slates for the limited amount of seconds he looked at her. Pathetic. He sighed and stood up to go to his room. Not that that would put much space between them, considering they were right across from each other, but it was the one place other Akatsuki members wouldn't dare enter.

As she sat on her bed, Rin heard the door across from the room close. So that's who sleeps there..No wonder he didn't tell me. She sighed and stood up. Feet carried her out of her room and to stand in front of Itachi's. Should I knock and apologize for being rude?...No that would make him uncomfortable. I'll go for a walk in the woods.
Rin called out to Itachi, In case you can't find me, I'm going for a walk in the woods. Not that you'll look for me. The woman grumbled this last part before walking out of the Compound and into the dark woods.

She didn't sleep. Instead, she trew a make-shift ball for her dog while she sat on her bed. It bounced off the wall, and her dog idioticly ran into it. She giggled lightly as he snorted and shook.
Not very cooridinated, are you?
she didn't wait to hear his answer, instead looked at her door as she heard their voices. Rin was heading off into the woods for a walk. Should I follow her? the thought was meant for herself, but, of course, her dog easily read her thoughts. "Stalker." was his reply. Her occuli glared his way, with her brows furrowed and her nose wrinkled slightly. He made an attepmt to look cute. Tilting his head, with one hark slanted down slightly, and his auburn opts glinting. It worked.
How could she stay mad at a face like that? Her lyrics were expelled in a kiddish "aw" as she scooped him up. Lips met with the small dent between his forhead, and he licked her chin, his little black tail wavering. I'm such a sucker for dogs. right after this thought, Dog Boy came into her mind. She replayed the activities in her mind. Her arms went limp, and her dog dropped. He growled at her, but she wasn't paying attention. Her jaw had also dropped, and her eyes were wide. She was beginning to think maybe, in some sort of non-concious mind of hers, she didn't accedentally give away any secrets, but purposely.
She quickly shook the thought away. No way! It was a total and complete accedent! I would never do something like that! If I did, Itachi would murder me... a frightened gaze was sent to her door, and she could already imagine Itachi using his Mangekyou Sharingan on her. Her body shuddered at the thought. She had heard stories of Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan. It's danger and stuff. He was even able to beat Kakashi, the Copy Ninja. She'd be dead if she ever did something like purposely give away Akatsuki secrets.
Okay, so she couldn't be stupid enough to betray Akatsuki like that. It would mean certain death, and, well, she wasn't ready to die. Yet. Her gaze drifted down to her dog, who had sensed her worry. He smiled, as dogs smile. "You didn't purposely say anything of Akatsuki, but you did say something. Itachi's still going to kill you." he said it as a joke. She sighed. Standing up, she wandered to her door, opening it, and walking out. Her limbs took her to Itachi's door.
Uh, Itachi, I'm, er, uh, going to try and, you know, um, not fail the, er, mission again.
she couldn't help her stuttering. With her heart beating, and every nerve in her body shaking. It was obvious she was nervous. Thank god Itachi couldn't see her right now.
So, um, yeah. Bye!
with that, she was racing off, her dog following her. Let's just hope Itachi brushes off my nervousness. she thought doubtfully, glancing to her dog, who just stared up at her with doubt in his own gaze.

He sighed once more, he hadn't meant to upset her, but he couldn't really afford to have even one weakness. He looked at the door, hearing soft breathing on the other side of it. Kamika. Then she started to speak. He quickly picked up on the nervous tint to her lyrics. Was it really nervousness that she would fail again? Or was it something else...? He made a mental note to go to send Rin to the leaf village and see if she could pick up on anything going on. He would go himself, but he expected he was a bit more recognizable than anyone else.
This train of thought took only seconds and he had made the decision just as he heard her stammer a short good-bye. That wasn't like her at all. Not one sarcastic or disrespectful remark. Interesting. He would have a talk with her when she got back, unless Rin got back first, because, then, it would depend on her report.
Rin. That brought him back to moments ago when she had went into the forest. It appeared he would have to talk to her first. Stilts carried him to and out the door. Once he reached the edge of the clearing he listened hard, hearing only one other set of human lungs at work. With that he simply followed the sound, resisting the urge to let the mask slip as he leapt through the jade canopy.
